Privacy
This explains what Nature Springs does with the details you give us on join.naturesprings.co.uk. Short version: we use them to run the waitlist, we don't sell them, and you can ask us to delete them any time.
Who we are
Nature Springs Ltd, Scott's of Southend, Sutton Road, Rochford, Essex SS4 1LQ. We're the data controller. Contact: info@naturesprings.co.uk.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your first name, email, and the date and time you agreed to hear from us.
- Where you came from: the link or campaign that brought you (UTM tags) and, if a friend shared their link, who referred you.
- Share with a friend: the first name of a friend you save a spot for, used to make the card you send them.
Why we use it
- To send your welcome email and voucher code, and to tell you about Nature Springs, including when bookings open. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw any time.
- To make the "saved you a spot" card for a friend, which only you send on. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- To keep forms free of spam and abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
Live numbers on the site (like how many people joined today) are counts only. When someone joins, other visitors may see "Someone just joined", never a name or email. Your thank-you card, which shows your first name, and any card you make for a friend, are seen only by the people you send them to.
Who we share it with
We use these processors, who only handle your data on our instructions:
- Supabase (database), EU/UK region
- Resend (welcome and notification emails)
- Wix (our website and booking system, which we use for updates and booking announcements)
- Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection on forms)
- Our website host (Vercel or Netlify)
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Cookies and pixels
The site works without any tracking cookies. We remember your thank-you card on your own device using local storage so you see it when you come back. If we switch on Meta or TikTok advertising pixels, you'll be asked first, and they only load if you press Accept. You can change your mind from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or 12 months after Nature Springs opens if you haven't booked, whichever is first.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Email info@naturesprings.co.uk and we'll reply within a month. If you're not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Age
The waitlist is for people aged 18 and over.
